Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Nov 6/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A trough of low pressure over the Northeast Pastoral district will gradually move northeastwards to clear the State on Thursday. A weak cold front will move over the southeast of the State overnight Thursday, then a high will move over the Bight on Friday.
Forecast for the rest of WednesdayPossible early fog patches over the southern agricultural area. Isolated showers and thunderstorms northeast of Yunta to Oodnadatta contracting northeastwards and becoming scattered in the far northeast from late afternoon. Possible isolated showers over the southern agricultural area and western coasts, more likely about southern coasts. Mild to warm, tending hot in the far northeast with mainly moderate southwest to southeast winds.Thursday 8 NovemberIsolated showers and thunderstorms in the far northeast clearing. Possible isolated showers over the southern agricultural area, more likely about southern coasts in the evening. Cool to mild in the south grading to warm in the north. Moderate to fresh southwest to southeasterly winds.Friday 9 NovemberIsolated showers over the agricultural area about the east coast of Eyre Peninsula and further east, tending scattered over the South East district in the morning with possible thunder. Cool in the south, mild to warm elsewhere with moderate to fresh southwest to southeast winds.Saturday 10 NovemberFine. Mild to warm. Light to moderate southeast to northeast winds and coastal sea breezes. Cumulative rainfall totals from Wednesday morning until midnight Saturday are expected to be 1 to 5 mm over the southern agricultural area, reaching 5 to 10 mm about southern coasts. Up to 1 mm over the northern agricultural area. 5 to 10 mm northeast of a line Renmark to Oodnadatta with local falls of 10 to 20 mm with thunderstorms.Sunday until TuesdayFine apart from possible isolated showers about ocean coasts Monday morning.The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm CDT Wednesday.Product IDS10033
