MELBOURNE - Nov 3/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Victoria was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.
Weather Situation A high pressure system over Tasmania will move eastwards across the Tasman Sea during the weekend and will be centred near New Zealand early next week. A weak upper level trough will cross Victoria late today and overnight. A stronger low pressure trough will approach western Victoria late on Monday then will move slowly across the State on Tuesday. Forecast for the rest of SaturdayEarly fog patches in the east. A partly cloudy day with isolated showers developing over western districts during the afternoon and evening, reaching central districts at night. Generally mild. Light winds and fresh afternoon coastal seabreezes.Fire Danger - Low to moderate.Sunday 4 NovemberDry and mostly sunny. A warm to hot day inland with light winds, milder near the coast with afternoon seabreezes.Monday 5 NovemberWarm to hot day with cloud increasing from the west. Isolated showers developing from the west and extending to the east later.Isolated late thunderstorms in the far west. Moderate to fresh north to northeasterly winds and coastal seabreezes.Tuesday 6 NovemberRain and isolated thunderstorms extending eastwards to most districts, clearing from the west later.
