Weather Situation A high 1027 hPa is centred over the Tasman Sea. A trough of low pressure will approach the western border late Monday, then move slowly northeastwards to be near a line Tarcoola to Kingscote late Tuesday evening, Oodnadatta to Leigh Creek late Wednesday evening and near Moomba Thursday evening. A high will ridge in south of the Bight during Thursday. Forecast for the rest of MondayFine apart from isolated showers and thunderstorms in the far northeast corner. Warm grading to hot in the west. Light to moderate northeast to northwest winds, moderate coastal sea breezes until evening.Tuesday 30 OctoberMostly hot with freshening northerly winds ahead of a cooler, freshening southwest to southerly change in the far west during the morning, gradually extending eastwards to a line near Tarcoola to Kingscote late evening. Areas of raised dust near and ahead of the change in the West Coast and Northwest Pastoral districts. Isolated showers and the chance of isolated thunderstorms developing west of the change.Wednesday 31 OctoberModerate to fresh northerly winds in the north ahead of the fresh southerly change extending northeastwards to reach Oodnadatta to Leigh Creek late evening. A cool day near southern coasts grading to hot over the Pastoral and Flinders districts. The chance of isolated showers and thunderstorms over the agricultural area and remaining areas west of Coober Pedy to Whyalla to Keith.Thursday 1 NovemberCool near southern coasts grading to hot in the far north. Isolated showers south of Oodnadatta to Broken Hill, contracting to the Pastoral Districts and the South East during the day. Possible thunderstorms north of about Ceduna to Renmark. Moderate to fresh south to southeasterly winds, northeasterly in the far northeast early morning.Friday 2 NovemberThe chance of isolated showers about southern coasts early morning. The chance of isolated showers over the West Coast and Northwest Pastoral districts. Generally moderate south to southeasterly winds, shifting northeasterly in the west during the day. Mild in the south grading to hot in the north and west. Cumulative rainfall totals from Monday afternoon until midnight Friday are expected to be generally less than 2 mm, with possible isolated falls of 2 to 5 mm.Saturday until MondayThe chance of isolated showers contracting east and clearing by Sunday. Fine otherwise. Light to moderate southeast to northeasterly winds, shifting southwest to southerly from the west on Saturday, shifting southeast to northeasterly and freshening on Sunday and Monday.
