Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Oct 27/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high pressure system is moving towards Tasmania extending a ridge to New South Wales north coast. The high will move over the Tasman Sea Sunday night and a weak low pressure trough will develop over northern parts of the state. The next cold front is expected to move through the state during Wednesday and Thursday as the high moves towards New Zealand and weakens.
Forecast for the rest of SundayThe chance of showers along the northern coast. Partly cloudy near the coast, sunny inland. Northeast to southeasterly winds.Monday 29 OctoberIsolated showers developing across the north, more likely inland near the Queensland border, with the chance of thunderstorms. Fine and partly cloudy in the south. East to northeasterly winds.Tuesday 30 OctoberShowers in the northeast, and possibly developing over the southern ranges. Fine and partly cloudy elsewhere. Chiefly northeast to northwesterly winds.Wednesday 31 OctoberIsolated showers in the northeast and southeast, and possibly over the southern inland. Fine elsewhere. Northeast to northwesterly winds, freshening across the south ahead of a late southerly change.The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm EDT Sunday.Product IDN10031
