MELBOURNE - Oct 26/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Victoria was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.
Weather Situation A high pressure system will approach western Victoria today, before moving across the State on Sunday to be located over the Tasman Sea on Monday. On Tuesday a low pressure trough will approach from the west and will reach western Victoria later in the day. Forecast for the rest of SaturdayIsolated showers in the south, falling as snow above 1400 metres, contracting southeastwards during the morning and clearing during the afternoon. Fine and mostly sunny in the north. A cool day with moderate southwesterly winds, fresh at times near the coast.Sunday 28 OctoberFine. Mild and partly cloudy in the south but warmer and mostly sunny in the north. Generally light winds and afternoon coastal seabreezes.Monday 29 OctoberFine. A warm and mostly sunny day with light winds and afternoon seabreezes near the coast.Tuesday 30 OctoberFine for most of the day but isolated showers possible over the northeast ranges during the afternoon and isolated showers later over the southwest.
