Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Oct 26/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high pressure system south of the Bight will gradually move southeast of the State during the weekend to become established over the Tasman Sea by late Sunday. A trough of low pressure will approach the western border late Monday, then move eastwards over the State on Tuesday, reaching the northeast of the State early Wednesday.
Forecast for the rest of SaturdayFine apart from possible morning drizzle in the Lower South East and early morning frost patches about the agricultural area. Cool in the south grading to warm in the far north with light to moderate southwest to southeasterly winds.Sunday 28 OctoberFine apart from early fog and frost patches over the southern agricultural area. Mild in the south grading to warm in the north and west. Mostly light southeast to northeast winds.Monday 29 OctoberFine. Warm in the south grading to hot in the north and west. Light to moderate northeast to northwesterly winds extending throughout.Tuesday 30 OctoberWarm to hot with freshening northerly winds ahead of a cooler, freshening southwest to southerly change in the far west early morning, extending eastwards to reach the west of the Northeast Pastoral late evening. Isolated showers gradually extending from the west to reach Coober Pedy to Mount Gambier late evening. Cumulative rainfall totals from Saturday morning until midnight Tuesday are expected to be generally less than 1 mm.Wednesday until FridayHot at first on Wednesday over the far northeast with northerly winds. Cooler over the remainder with moderate to fresh southerly winds. Isolated showers, contracting to the southern agricultural area on Thursday and clearing on Friday. Cool to mild in the south on Thursday and Friday, grading to warm in the north and west with south to southeasterly winds, turning northeasterly in the west on Friday.The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm CDT Saturday.Product IDS10033
