Fine and mostly sunny elsewhere. Cooler daytime temperatures across southern and parts of central Queensland. Forecast for Wednesday The high in the Tasman Sea will become slow moving during the day and will maintain the ridge along the east coast of Queensland. The complex low pressure system will lie to the south of New Caledonia. The combination of these two systems will continue to produce a large swell along the southern Queensland coast, tending to a more onshore SE to E direction. Very warm daytime temperatures should continue over the far west. Outlook for Thursday, Friday and Saturday The high in the Tasman Sea will weaken during Thursday and Friday, while the low will also move further eastwards. This will lead to an easing in the SE swell along the east coast. Isolated showers along the east coast should gradually contract northwards by Friday. Isolated thunderstorms will become possible across western and southern Queensland.
