Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Oct 16/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A cold front is moving through New South Wales coast, bringing a south to southwesterly change to most of the state by the end of the day. A high pressure centre currently over South Australia will move into the Tasman Sea during Thursday, then be followed by a low pressure trough on Friday. Another high will build over the state during the weekend.
Forecast for the rest of WednesdayIsolated showers and thunderstorms on the far south coast and ranges, clearing this morning. A mostly sunny day elsewhere, although cloud increasing along the coast and eastern ranges tonight. Southerly winds extending throughout most of the state, although remaining in northerly winds on the far north coast.Fire Danger -  Very High in northeastern NSWThursday 18 OctoberIsolated showers on the far north coast. Partly cloudy elsewhere. Northwest to northeasterly winds.Friday 19 OctoberThe chance of showers in the southern inland and in the northeast. Partly cloudy elsewhere. Northwest to northeast winds.Saturday 20 OctoberMostly dry and sunny. Very warm in the north. Northwest to northeast winds in the northeast.
