Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Oct 14/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high pressure system is centred over the Tasman Sea maintaining a ridge over New South Wales. During Tuesday and Wednesday a weak cold front will move through the state as the high moves further east and the ridge weakens. A low pressure trough is expected to form across the central parts of the state by Friday.
Forecast for the rest of MondayMostly sunny in the north. Partly cloudy in the south. Light winds in the northeast, tending northeast to northwesterly elsewhere.Tuesday 16 OctoberThe chance of showers in the far southeastern inland. Partly cloudy elsewhere. Northeast to northwesterly winds, ahead of a late southwesterly change in the south.Wednesday 17 OctoberThe chance of showers on the far south coast and ranges. Partly cloudy elsewhere. Southerly winds extending throughout.Thursday 18 OctoberIsolated showers on the far north coast. Partly cloudy elsewhere.
