Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Oct 12/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high to the north of Adelaide will slowly move east over the next few days to be over the Tasman Sea Sunday evening. A low pressure trough will cross the west of the State on Sunday and move slowly northeastwards to reach a line Marree to Oodnadatta late Tuesday evening. A cold front will cross southern coasts Tuesday evening.
Forecast for the rest of SaturdayCold early with early morning fog patches over the agricultural area. Isolated light morning showers over southern Kangaroo Island and the South East district. Light southwest to southeast winds, tending moderate to fresh north to northeast in the far west. Cool to mild, grading to warm in the far west.Sunday 14 OctoberEarly fog patches in the Lower South East, then a fine, mostly sunny day. Mild to warm tending hot in the west. Moderate northerly winds, fresh in the west, shifting southerly in the far west.Monday 15 OctoberEarly fog patches about the west coast, otherwise fine. Mild to warm, grading to hot in the north. Moderate to fresh northerly winds, shifting milder southerly across western and southern parts.Tuesday 16 OctoberIsolated showers developing across southern coastal districts in the afternoon, increasing to scattered over the Lower South East in the evening. Hot in the northeast with moderate to fresh north to northwest winds, turning milder southwest to southerly over the remainder. Cumulative rainfall totals from Saturday morning until midnight Tuesday are expected to be less than 2 mm, reaching 2 to 5 mm over the Lower South East.Wednesday until FridayIsolated morning showers over the Lower South East on Wednesday. Possible isolated showers over the far west on Thursday. Fine Friday.The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm CDT Saturday.Product IDS10033
