Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Oct 11/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high southwest of the Bight will move slowly eastwards over the next few days to be centred over the Tasman sea on Monday. A low pressure trough will move over the south and west of the State late Sunday and Monday.
Forecast for the rest of ThursdayIsolated showers over the agricultural area, contracting to areas south of about Cleve to Naracoorte during the evening. Cool to cold with moderate to fresh southerly winds.Friday 12 OctoberCold early with frost areas south of about Tarcoola to Leigh Creek. Isolated light showers south of about Cleve to Naracoorte, contracting to the Lower South East district by midday. A cool day with light to moderate southwest to southeasterly winds.Saturday 13 OctoberCold early with frost patches south of about Ceduna to Broken Hill. Fine apart from isolated light showers in the Lower South East until midday. Light southwest to southeast winds, tending northerly from the west. Cool to mild, grading to warm in the far west.Sunday 14 OctoberEarly frost patches in the South East and Murraylands districts. A fine and mostly sunny day. A warm day grading to hot in the west. Moderate to fresh northerly winds, shifting southerly in the far west in the evening.Monday 15 OctoberFine and generally warm, grading to hot in the far north. Moderate to fresh northerly winds shifting milder southerly across western and southern parts. Cumulative rainfall totals from Thursday evening until midnight Monday are expected to be generally less than 1 mm over the agricultural area.Tuesday until ThursdayThe chance of isolated showers on Tuesday, fine on Wednesday, then possible isolated showers in the west on Thursday. Cool to mild days in the south, grading to warm in the north and west.
