MELBOURNE - Sep 28/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.
Weather Situation A deep low pressure system southwest of Tasmania is moving eastwards. A high will become established over the Bight on Sunday and will move slowly eastwards during the following few days. Forecast for the rest of SaturdayScattered showers and possible small hail over the South East district, easing to isolated showers by late afternoon. Isolated showers over the remainder of the agricultural area and far south of the Northwest Pastoral, contracting to southern coasts and ranges late afternoon. Cool to cold in the south, cool to mild in the north. Moderate to fresh southwesterly winds, easing in the evening.Sunday 30 SeptemberIsolated showers over the southern agricultural area, contracting to southern coasts in the evening. Cool to mild in the south, warm in the north. Light to moderate southwest to southeasterly winds.Monday 1 OctoberEarly morning fog patches about the southern agricultural area. Isolated showers about the Lower South East and the coasts of the Upper South East, clearing during the afternoon. Mild to warn with light to moderate southwest to southeast winds, tending easterly in the west.Tuesday 2 OctoberEarly morning fog patches in the southeast, otherwise fine and clear. Mild to warm with light to moderate east to northeast winds. Cumulative rainfall totals from Saturday morning to midnight Tuesday are expected to be up to 2 mm, reaching 2 to 5 mm about the Lower South East coast.Wednesday until FridayFine and warm to hot ahead of a milder change extending from the southwest on Friday.
