MELBOURNE - Sep 20/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Western Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Warning summary
Severe Weather Warning issued for areas southwest of a line from Lancelin to
Corrigin to Bremer Bay on Friday.
Gale Warning for coastal waters from Jurien Bay to Israelite Bay.
Strong Wind Warning for coastal waters from Kalbarri to Jurien Bay.
Warning for Sheep Farmers in the Southwest and South Coastal districts and
southern and western parts of the Great Southern for Friday afternoon and
evening.
Forecast for Thursday  evening
Southwest of a line Geraldton to Southern Cross to Hopetoun: Isolated showers,
tending scattered about the Southwest district and adjacent parts. Showers
contracting to southwest of a line Jurien Bay to Albany in the evening.
Forecast for Friday
SW Land Division: Windy, with scattered showers extending from the west during
the morning. Showers becoming widespread with isolated squally thunderstorms
over southwestern parts by late morning, before extending through the remainder
of the southern half during the afternoon and evening. Dangerous wind gusts
possible southwest of a line from Lancelin to Corrigin to Bremer Bay, extending
east towards Southern Cross and Esperance during the afternoon. Small hail
possible near the western south coast in the evening.
Southwest Gascoyne and southwest Goldfields: Isolated showers developing in the
late afternoon or evening.
