Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Sep 19/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A broad low pressure trough lies over the New South Wales and is expected to deepen near the coast during Friday. A weak high is expected to drift overhead on Saturday before the next cold front sweeps across the state on Sunday and Monday.
Forecast for the rest of ThursdayIsolated showers on the western slopes and ranges, extending to the south coast and the far southwest tonight. Fine and partly cloudy elsewhere. South to southeasterly winds in the southeast, northwest to northeasterly winds in the north.Friday 21 SeptemberIsolated showers in the southeast and the chance of showers in the northern inland. Otherwise fine and partly cloudy. Mainly west to southwesterly winds. Winds tending northeast on the far north coast in the afternoon.Saturday 22 SeptemberFine apart from isolated showers in the southeast and parts of the coastal fringe in the north. Mostly sunny. Southwest to southeast winds tending light and variable inland.Sunday 23 SeptemberFine apart from possible isolated showers in the southeast. Northeast to northwesterly winds ahead of a southwesterly wind change moving through the west and south of the state.The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm EST Thursday.Product IDN10031
