Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Sep 17/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A low pressure trough over eastern and central will be dominate synoptic situation across New South Wales over the next few days. The trough will weaken during Friday and Saturday as a cold front approaches from the west. The front is expected to move through the state on Sunday.
Forecast for the rest of MondayMostly clear in the northwest. Isolated showers and thunderstorms elsewhere. Southeast to northeasterly winds, freshening along the coast later.Tuesday 18 SeptemberMostly clear in the northwest. Scattered showers and thunderstorms in the eastern and central parts and clearing showers in the southwest . Mainly northwest to northeast winds, fresh along the coast.Wednesday 19 SeptemberIsolated showers in the west and the far southeast. Partly cloudy elsewhere. South to southeasterly winds in the south, northwest to northeasterly winds in the north.Thursday 20 SeptemberIsolated showers in the east. partly cloudy in the west. South to southeasterly winds in the south, northwest to northeasterly winds in the north.Friday 21 SeptemberPartly cloudy in the southwest.
