Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Sep 13/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
On Thursday a cold front will move through the state and a high will move towards the Bight extending a ridge behind the front. A low pressure trough is expected to develop over the northeast of the state during the weekend and deepen on Monday.
Forecast for the rest of ThursdayPartly cloudy over inland north. Isolated showers or light rain elsewhere clearing from the west but becoming more widespread in the southeast. Snow showers above 1300 metres on the Alps. The chance of thunderstorms in the southeast. North to northwesterly winds turning cooler, gusty southwesterly in the west and southeast.Fire Danger -  Very High in the northeast.Friday 14 SeptemberThe chance of early showers on the far north coast. Mostly sunny elsewhere. Early frost patches about the southern and central ranges. Southwest to southeast winds easing.Saturday 15 SeptemberPartly cloudy near the coast, mostly sunny inland. Early frost patches about the ranges. Light to moderate south to southeast winds.Sunday 16 SeptemberThe chance of late showers in the far southern inland and on the far north coast.
