Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Sep 10/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A strong high pressure system will dominate New South Wales until the next cold front crosses the state late Wednesday and Thursday. Another high will move east into the Tasman Sea for the weekend.
Forecast for the rest of TuesdayMostly sunny apart from some drizzle or light showers on the south coast during the morning. Early frost patches about the ranges and fog patches in the east. Light winds tending moderate to fresh southerly along the southern and central coast.Wednesday 12 SeptemberThe chance of late showers in the far southwest. Mostly sunny elsewhere. Warm northwest winds freshening before a late southwesterly change in the southwest.Thursday 13 SeptemberIsolated showers in the southeast tending scattered on the Alps with snow showers developing above 1200 metres. Possible showers through the southwest and central districts. Fine in the far north. North to northwesterly winds before a colder, fresh to strong and gusty southwesterly change moves across most of the state, reaching the northeast in the evening.Friday 14 SeptemberFine apart from isolated showers in the far southeast. Early frost patches about the ranges. Southwest to southeast winds easing.The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm EST Tuesday.Product IDN10031
