Weather Situation A cold front is moving through the Tasman Sea towards New Zealand a strong high pressure system near the Bight is moving slowly east strengthening a ridge across New South Wales. Another cold front is expected to move through the state during Wednesday and Thursday as the high moves over the Tasman Sea. Forecast for the rest of SaturdayClearing snow showers on the Alps. Mostly clear elsewhere. West to southwesterly winds, fresh in the southeast.Sunday 9 SeptemberMostly sunny. Early frost patches about the ranges. Southwest to southeasterly winds.Monday 10 SeptemberMostly sunny. Early frost areas in the southwestern inland and frost patches about the northern ranges.
