MELBOURNE - Sep 3/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Western Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Severe Weather Warning for areas southwest of a line Denham to Hopetoun Monday,
and southwest of a line Mandurah to Katanning to Esperance Tuesday.

Southwest of a line Carnarvon to Esperance: A cold front is expected to reach
eastern parts by midnight. Isolated showers just ahead of the front. Widespread
squally heavy showers with the front with isolated thunderstorms. Scattered
heavy showers and isolated thunderstorms persisting behind the front. Small hail
possible in the Southwest and adjacent parts in the evening. Locally dangerous
gusts possible southwest of a line Denham to Hopetoun.

South Coastal and the Southeast Coastal districts: Widespread showers, small
hail, and isolated thunderstorms. Widespread damaging winds possible. The chance
of some snow on the Stirling Ranges.
Lower West, Southwest, and the adjacent Great Southern: Widespread showers and
isolated thunderstorms with small hail possible, easing to scattered showers in
the afternoon and evening. Widespread damaging winds possible.
The remainder of the SW Land Division, and the adjacent Gascoyne and Goldfields:
