Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Sep 2/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A slow-moving high pressure system is centred over New South Wales, promoting fine and generally clear conditions. A cold front currently off the west Australian coast is expected to cross New South Wales during Wednesday and Thursday, preceded by warm temperatures and strengthening northwesterly winds. Showers associated with this system will mostly be restricted to districts along the Victorian border.
Forecast for the rest of MondayWidespread early frost inland. Sunny. Light winds.Tuesday 4 SeptemberFine and mostly sunny. Warm northwest to northeast winds, becoming fresh and gusty in the west.Wednesday 5 SeptemberIsolated showers in the southwest, extending to the southeast later, and possibly reaching the central ranges and slopes. Strong and gusty warm northwest winds ahead of a westerly change in the west.Thursday 6 SeptemberIsolated showers about the western slopes of the southern and central ranges. Fine remainder.
