Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Aug 26/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high pressure ridge dominates most of New South Wales, with the high pressure centre expected to lie over New South Wales until early Tuesday. The ridge will be weakening and moving to the east from Tuesday as another change is forecast move through the state on Wednesday/Thursday.
Forecast for the rest of MondayIsolated showers on the north coast, becoming scattered in the far north. Mostly sunny elsewhere. Early fog and frost inland. Light winds tending northwest to northeasterly.Tuesday 28 AugustMostly sunny apart from possible isolated showers over the southern inland. Early frost inland. North to northwest winds.Wednesday 29 AugustIsolated showers over the southern and central inland, extending to the far south coast and becoming scattered on the western slopes of the southern ranges. Fine in the remainder. North to northwest winds turning southwesterly in the west.Thursday 30 AugustIsolated showers through southern, central and eastern parts, mainly in the central and southern inland and along the coastal fringe. West to southwesterly winds in the west. North to northwesterly winds on the coast and in the northeast inland, ahead of a west to southwesterly change extending to the Northern Tablelands and Mid North Coast by evening.The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm EST Monday.Product IDN10031
