Weather Situation An intense low near Tasmania will weaken and move slowly eastwards to be east of Tasmania Saturday morning. A front will clip the southeast on Saturday as a high forms over the north of the State. The high will move slowly eastwards to be over New South Wales on Monday. A trough of low pressure will extend over SA on Tuesday. Forecast for the rest of FridayIsolated showers over the southern agricultural area contracting to southern coasts in the evening. Fresh northwest to southwesterly winds, strong about southern coasts, moderating later in the evening.Saturday 25 AugustIsolated showers extending over the agricultural area, increasing to scattered showers about the southern agricultural area from late morning through to early evening, before easing throughout and contracting to southern coasts late evening. Possible isolated morning fog patches in the west. Cool to cold in the south grading to mild in the north. Moderate to fresh northwest to southwesterly winds over the agricultural area, tending lighter southwest to southeasterly in the north.Sunday 26 AugustPossible isolated showers about southern coasts during the morning. Morning fog. Cool to mild, grading to warm in the far north.Monday 27 AugustFine until isolated showers develop about western Eyre Peninsula and Kangaroo Island in the evening. Mild to warm with northerly winds ahead of a cooler southwesterly change moving across the west later in the day.Tuesday 28 August Isolated showers extending over the agricultural area, possibly reaching southern Pastoral districts. Warm with fresh northerly winds ahead of a cooler southwesterly change extending throughout during the day. Cumulative rainfall totals from Friday afternoon until midnight Tuesday are forecast to be 2 to 5 mm over the agricultural area, reaching 5 to 10 mm about the southern agricultural area, grading to less than 2 mm elsewhere. Wednesday until FridayIsolated showers over the agricultural area and southern Pastoral districts, increasing to scattered showers over the southern agricultural area on Wednesday and Thursday. Showers easing and contracting southwards later in the period.
