Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Aug 11/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high 1034 hPa south of Kangaroo Island is moving slowly eastwards and will be centred over the eastern states on Monday. A cold front will move over the far west of the State on Monday and reach a line Oodnadatta to Broken Hill late Tuesday evening.
Forecast for the rest of SundayFine apart from the chance of isolated light morning showers over the Lower South East and the south coast of Kangaroo Island. A cold morning inland with frost and fog patches. A cool to mild day with light to moderate southeast to northeasterly winds.Monday 13 AugustFine until isolated showers develop about western coasts in the evening, Early frost patches inland. Mild to warm with moderate to fresh northerly winds, strong about western coasts, ahead of a cooler, fresh southwesterly change in the far west later.Tuesday 14 AugustIsolated showers extending over the agricultural area and far south of the pastoral districts, tending scattered south of Adelaide in the morning.Wednesday 15 AugustIsolated showers over the agricultural area and far south of the pastoral districts, tending scattered south of Adelaide until evening. Cool to mild with moderate to fresh northwest to southwest winds. Cumulative rainfall totals from Sunday morning until midnight Wednesday are expected to be 2 to 5 mm over the southern agricultural area, reaching 5 to 10 mm about southern coasts and ranges. Up to 2 mm further north.Thursday until SaturdayScattered showers over most of the agricultural area, with isolated showers extending to about Marree, becoming isolated and contracting south of Adelaide during Saturday. Cold with fresh to strong northwest to southwest winds, tending southerly and easing later in the period.The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm CST Sunday.Product IDS10033
