Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Aug 11/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A deep low pressure system sits over the central Tasman Sea, while a high pressure system is located near the Bight. This pattern is directing a vigorous south to southwesterly airstream across New South Wales, which will gradually ease tonight and on Sunday as the low moves away from the region. During this time, the high to the west will strengthen over the state, restricting shower activity to areas near the coast while the inland districts experience generally clear conditions. This high will be the dominant feature through to the end of next week, when the next cold front is expected to arrive
