Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Aug 10/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high southwest of Port Lincoln is moving slowly eastwards and will be centred to the south of Kangaroo Island early Sunday and over the eastern states on Monday and Tuesday. A cold front will move into the far west of the State on Monday and over remaining districts on Tuesday.
Forecast for the rest of SaturdayEarly isolated frost inland. The chance of isolated light showers over central and southeastern districts contracting to southern coasts and in the Lower South East. late morning. Fine over the remainder. A cool to mild day with chiefly light south to southeasterly winds, tending easterly in the west.Sunday 12 AugustFine apart from the chance of isolated light showers over the Lower South East coast early morning. Cold morning with frost patches. A cool to mild day with chiefly light southeast to northeasterly winds.Monday 13 AugustFine until isolated showers develop near western coasts in the evening, Early frost patches, except in the west. Mild to warm with light to moderate northerly winds, freshening near the coast, ahead of a cooler southwesterly change in the far west later.Tuesday 14 AugustIsolated showers over the agricultural area, contracting south during the afternoon then clearing in the evening. Cool to mild with moderate southwesterly winds extending throughout. Cumulative rainfall totals from Saturday morning until midnight Tuesday are expected to be less than 1 mm over the northern agricultural area, 1 to 2 mm over the southern agricultural area, increasing to 2 to 5 mm near southern coasts and in the Lower South East.Wednesday until FridayIsolated showers over the agricultural area, scattered at times over southern coasts and in the Lower South East on Thursday and Friday. Cool to mild with moderate to fresh northwest to southwest winds, reaching fresh to strong at times over the agricultural area.The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm CST Saturday.Product IDS10033
