Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Aug 6/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high over the state will move east over NSW, ahead of a cold front moving across the west of the State on Tuesday and the remainder on Wednesday. Another high will develop over the state during Thursday.
Forecast for the rest of MondayPossible isolated showers about the southern coasts. Moderate southwest to northwest in the south and northerly in the far west.Tuesday 7 AugustFine and warm day with possible isolated late evening showers developing about southern coasts. Patchy early frost over the Flinders and south of the Northeast Pastoral districts. Moderate to fresh north to northwest winds, turning southwesterly in the far west during the late afternoon and evening.Wednesday 8 AugustIsolated showers over the agricultural area and far south of the pastoral districts, tending scattered over southern parts of the southern agricultural area. Possible isolated thunderstorms about Kangaroo Island and the Lower South East. Mild to warm with moderate to fresh northwest to southwesterly winds.Thursday 9 AugustIsolated showers over the agricultural area and western coasts contracting south during the afternoon and evening. Cool with moderate to fresh southwest to southeasterly winds.Friday 10 AugustIsolated showers over the agricultural area, contracting to southern coasts and ranges on Saturday then clearing on Sunday. Cool to mild with moderate to fresh southerly winds. Cumulative rainfall totals from Monday until midnight Friday are expected to be 5 to 10 mm about the South East district, with 2 to 5 mm over the remainder of the southern agricultural area. Less than 2 mm further north. Isolated falls of up to 15 mm are possible about the Lower South East.Saturday until MondayPossible isolated showers about the south of the southern agricultural area on Saturday then clearing on Sunday. Possible late evening showers about western and southern coasts on Monday. cool to mild with light to moderate southeast to northeast winds becoming fresh northerly from Sunday afternoon ahead of a southerly change in the west on Monday.The next routine forecast will be issued at 5:30 am CST Tuesday.Product IDS10033
