Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Jul 31/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A low pressure system lies over the southeastern Tasman Sea and a high south of the Bight extends a ridge to the Coral Sea. During the next few days the high will move slowly east, while the low remains almost stationary near New Zealand. The next change is expected to move through the state during Friday and Saturday as the high weakens.
Forecast for the rest of TuesdayIsolated showers along the coast apart from the north, and isolated snow showers about the Alps. Mostly sunny elsewhere. Morning frost and fog patches inland. Southerly winds, fresh along the coast. Dangerous surf conditions along the coast.Wednesday 1 AugustIsolated showers about the southern and central coasts, and possible snow showers on the Alps. Partly cloudy elsewhere. Morning frost inland. Southerly winds. Dangerous surf conditions along the coast.Thursday 2 AugustIsolated showers along the central coast. Mostly sunny elsewhere. Morning frost inland. Southerly winds.Friday 3 AugustIsolated showers in the southeastern inland. Partly cloudy elsewhere. Morning frost inland.
