MELBOURNE - Jul 30/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.
Weather Situation A low pressure system lies over the southeastern Tasman Sea and a high south of the Bight extends a ridge to the Coral Sea. During the next few days the high will move slowly east, while the low remains almost stationary near New Zealand. The next change is expected to move through the state during Friday and Saturday as the high weakens. Forecast for the rest of MondayIsolated showers about the southern and central coasts. Mostly clear elsewhere. Southerly winds, fresh to strong near the coast. Dangerous surf conditions developing along the coast.Tuesday 31 JulyIsolated showers along the coast, and isolated snow showers about the Alps. Mostly sunny elsewhere. Morning frost and fog patches inland. Southerly winds, fresh along the coast.
