Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Jul 29/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high 1034 hPa south of the western Bight will move slowly eastwards to be near Tasmania Tuesday evening. A trough will move over the west of the State on Thursday, followed by a cold front on Friday.
Forecast for the rest of SundayIsolated showers over the agricultural area, west coast and the south of the Northwest Pastoral, contracting southwards in the evening. Early fog patches inland. Cool with light to moderate southwest to southeast winds.Monday 30 JulyIsolated light showers about southern coasts and ranges. Early frost and fog patches inland. Cool with light to moderate south to southeast winds.Tuesday 31 JulyIsolated light showers about southern coasts, clearing in the afternoon. Early frost inland. Cool to mild with light to moderate southeast to northeast winds.Wednesday 1 AugustFine after early frosts and fog patches inland. Cool with light to moderate southeast to northeast winds, tending fresh northerly about western coasts. Cumulative rainfall totals from Sunday morning until midnight Wednesday are expected to be less than 1 mm over the northern agricultural area and Pastoral districts, with 1 to 2 mm expected over the southern agricultural area, possibly reaching 2 to 5 mm over southern coasts and ranges.Thursday until SaturdayIsolated showers developing over western and southern coasts Thursday, extending over the agricultural area and south of the Pastorals on Friday, tending scattered over the southern agricultural area. Showers easing later on Saturday. Cool with moderate to fresh northwest to southwest winds.The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm CST Sunday.Product IDS10033
