Australia -- New South Wales Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Jul 27/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A low pressure trough is moving through southeastern New South Wales and a strong high pressure system southwest of the Bight is extending a ridge to behind the trough. Over the next few days the high will move very slowly east strengthening the ridge across the state.
Forecast for the rest of FridayIsolated showers in the southeastern inland, falling as snow above 1200 metres.contracting south. Clearing showers on the far north coast. West to southwesterly winds.Saturday 28 JulyIsolated snow showers on the Alps and the chance of showers on the western slopes of the ranges. Mostly sunny elsewhere. Morning frost on the slopes and ranges. West to southwest winds.Sunday 29 JulyIsolated snow showers on the Alps. The chance of early showers on the western slopes of the southern ranges and possible late showers near the central coast. Mostly sunny elsewhere. Widespread morning frost inland. South to southwest winds.Monday 30 JulyIsolated coastal showers apart from the far north and isolated clearing snow showers on the Alps. Mostly sunny elsewhere. Widespread morning frost inland. Southerly winds.Tuesday 31 JulyIsolated coastal showers apart from the far north . Mostly sunny west of the ranges. Widespread morning frost inland.
