MELBOURNE - Jul 27/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.
Weather Situation A low over Bass Strait will move over the Tasman Sea during the day. A weak front will move over the southeast of the State on Saturday morning and a high southwest of Perth will ridge in over the Bight during the weekend. Forecast for the rest of FridayIsolated showers over the agricultural area, West Coast district and south of the Northeast Pastoral, scattered during the morning near southern coasts and ranges. Showers contracting southwards during the afternoon to be confined to southern coasts in the evening. Cool to cold with moderate to fresh southwesterly winds.Saturday 28 JulyIsolated showers over the agricultural area and far south of the Pastorals. Early frost and fog patches inland. Cool with light to moderate southwest to southerly winds, fresh about southern coasts.Sunday 29 JulyIsolated showers over the agricultural area and south of the Northwest Pastoral, contracting southwards in the evening. Early frost and fog patches inland. Cool with light to moderate southwest to southeasterly winds.Monday 30 July Isolated light showers about southern coasts and ranges. Early frost and fog patches inland. Cool with light to moderate south to southeast winds. Cumulative rainfall totals from Friday morning until midnight Monday are expected to be 1 to 2 mm over the northern agricultural area, 2 to 5 mm over the southern agricultural area, reaching 5 to 10 mm over southern coasts and ranges. Less than 1 mm is expected over southern parts of the Pastoral districts. Tuesday until ThursdayIsolated light showers about southern coasts and ranges, clearing Tuesday afternoon. Isolated showers developing about the far west coast late Thursday.
