Australia -- Victoria Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Jul 21/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Victoria was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high pressure system centred near Adelaide will move slowly eastwards over Victoria today to be located over northeastern Victoria on Monday, then the NSW central coast by Tuesday. A low pressure system will develop south of the Bight later Tuesday and move northeast to approach western Victoria on Wednesday.
Forecast for the rest of SundayMorning frost patches over the northeast and areas of morning fog. A mostly fine day apart from isolated light showers possible in the south. Mostly sunny in the north. A cool to mild day with light winds.Monday 23 JulyMorning frost inland. Areas of morning fog. A cool to mild and mostly sunny day although cloud increasing over the west in the afternoon. Light winds tending northerly and local afternoon seabreezes developing along the Gippsland coast.Tuesday 24 JulyMorning frost, mainly in the northeast. Areas of morning fog. A cool day with cloud increasing from the west and light to moderate northerly winds.Wednesday 25 JulyIsolated showers developing over western districts, possibly extending through central and eastern areas by the evening. Showers falling as snow above 1500 metres. A cool and mostly cloudy day with moderate northerly winds, freshening in the west.The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm EST Sunday.Product IDV10310
