MELBOURNE - Jul 21/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.
Weather Situation A slow-moving low is situated over the central Tasman Sea, while a strengthening high near Adelaide extends a ridge to the east. This high will remain the dominant feature for New South Wales' weather during the next few days, promoting fine conditions over the inland and restricting any shower activity to areas near the coast. The next trough looks set to move across the region mid next week as the high begins to lose influence. Forecast for the rest of SaturdayIsolated showers about the central and northern coastal districts, tending scattered near Port Stephens. Fine and mostly sunny elsewhere, after early frosts inland and fog patches. South to southeast winds, fresh to strong near the central and northern coasts.Sunday 22 JulyIsolated showers developing east of the Divide, most widespread along central and northern parts of the coastal fringe during the morning. Fine and mostly sunny west of Divide. Early frost and fog patches inland. South to southeasterly winds, fresh to strong near the northern coast.Monday 23 JulyIsolated showers developing east of the Divide, most widespread along central and northern parts of the coastal fringe during the morning.
