MELBOURNE - Jul 14/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.
Weather Situation A complex low pressure system over the southwestern Tasman Sea is gradually moving eastwards and weakening and a high pressure system is moving north of the Bight is strengthening a ridge across New South Wales.. The next cold front is expected to move through the state during Wednesday. as the high moves towards New Zealand and the ridge weakens. Forecast for the rest of SundayIsolated showers about the western slopes of the southern and central ranges contracting south, snow showers above about 1000 metres at first, retreating to higher levels during the day. Isolated showers on the far north coast, clearing in the morning. Mostly sunny elsewhere. West to northwesterly winds.Monday 16 JulyIsolated showers on the southwest slopes and Alpine area.Early fog and frost patches. Mostly sunny remainder. Light winds.Tuesday 17 JulyIsolated showers on the southwest slopes and Alpine area. Isolated showers also along the far north coast. Early fog and frost patches Mostly sunny remainder. Light winds.Wednesday 18 JulyPartly cloudy in the northwest. Showers developing elsewhere.
