Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Jul 10/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A series of troughs are forecast to move over southern parts of South Australia through to Sunday, while a high pressure ridge becomes established over the north of the State late in the week.
Forecast for the rest of WednesdayIsolated showers clearing from the southeast this morning. Areas of morning fog, mainly about and east of the ranges. Isolated showers possibly re-developing about coastal districts during the afternoon and evening. Cool to mild with light to moderate northerly winds freshening in the west ahead of a late southwesterly change in the west.Thursday 12 JulyIsolated showers increasing to scattered showers from the west over southern districts with possible thunderstorms over central districts and east of the ranges. Generally cool with moderate to locally fresh northerly winds shifting southwesterly from the west.Friday 13 JulyScattered showers over southern agricultural areas. Isolated showers over northern agricultural areas and the West Coast district. Cool to cold with moderate to fresh west to southwesterly winds.Saturday 14 JulyIsolated showers over agricultural areas and the West Coast district. Cool with moderate westerly winds. Accumulated rainfall amounts from Wednesday morning through to midnight Saturday are expected to be 10 to 15 mm over southern agricultural areas, 2 to 10 mm over northern agricultural areas and east of the ranges, and up to 2 mm elsewhere.Sunday until TuesdayIsolated showers over agricultural areas contracting south. Cool to mild with generally light to moderate southwest to northwesterly winds.The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm CST Wednesday.Product IDS10033
