Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Jul 8/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A weakening low and associated trough in the west will move slowly eastwards across South Australia during Monday. A series of further troughs are forecast to move over southern parts of the State this week while a high pressure ridge become established over the north later in the week.
Forecast for the rest of SundayFine apart from possible isolated showers developing in the east of the North East Pastoral district this evening. Light to moderate northerly winds, fresh at times in the west and south.Monday 9 JulyIsolated showers developing on and east of the ranges increasing to patchy rain about the eastern border later in the day. Isolated showers developing about western coasts. Possible isolated thunderstorms about western coasts and over the Northeast Pastoral, Flinders and Riverland districts. A cool to mild day with light to moderate northerly winds, shifting moderate southwesterly over western parts during the day.Tuesday 10 JulyPatchy rain on and east of the ranges easing to isolated showers during the morning before clearing from the north. Isolated showers persisting about the southern coastal areas, possibly about the western coast as well. Possible isolated thunderstorms over the Northeast Pastoral district. Isolated morning fogs. Light to moderate southwest to northwesterly winds.Wednesday 11 July
Isolated thundery showers over the northeast. Isolated showers about agricultural area and the West Coast district, possibly into the Pastoral districts. Cool to mild with light to moderate northwesterly winds turning southwesterly from the west.
Thursday 12 JulyIsolated showers increasing to scattered showers over eastern and southern districts. Generally cool with moderate southwest to southerly winds extending throughout during the day. Accumulated rainfall amounts from Sunday through to midnight Thursday are expected to be up to 5 mm, reaching 5 to 10 mm about western coastal parts, and 5 to 20 mm for areas on and east of the ranges. Isolated falls totalling up to 30 mm are possible about the eastern border.Friday until SundayIsolated showers continuing about the agricultural areas and West Coast district, gradually easing through the period and clearing from the northern agricultural area. Generally cool with light to moderate northwest to southwesterly winds.The next routine forecast will be issued at 5:30 am CST Monday.Product IDS10033
