MELBOURNE - Jul 7/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.
Weather Situation A strong high pressure system to the southeast of the State is slowly moving east. The high will continue to move toward New Zealand, while maintaining a ridge over coastal waters into the next week. Some rain is forecast to develop over western parts of the State early next week and extend further east later, as a trough of low pressure advances from the west. Forecast for the rest of SundayIsolated showers on the northern half of the coast and adjacent ranges, more likely about coastal fringe in the north. Fine and mostly sunny elsewhere. Widespread morning frosts and patchy morning fog inland. Southeast to northeasterly winds.Monday 9 JulyIsolated showers on the north coast. Patchy rain developing across the western inland, becoming more widespread in the far west. Fine and partly cloudy remainder. Early frost and fog patches. Southeast winds on the north coast, northeast winds elsewhere.Tuesday 10 JulyIsolated showers on the north coast. Rain areas over the central and western parts. Fine and partly cloudy remainder. North to northeast winds freshening ahead of a westerly change in the west.Wednesday 11 JulyDry in far west. Areas of rain the remainder.
