MELBOURNE - Jul 6/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.
Weather Situation A high centred over Victoria will move slowly eastwards, to be centred over the Tasman Sea on Sunday. A weak trough of low pressure is expected to cross the State on Monday and Tuesday. Forecast for the rest of SaturdayA cold morning with areas of frost, then a fine, cool to mild and mostly sunny day. Light to moderate northeasterly winds, freshening in the west and about southern coasts.Sunday 8 JulyCold at first with areas of morning frost, mainly in the east, then a fine, cool to mild and mostly sunny day. Light to moderate northerly winds, fresh in the west and south.Monday 9 JulyIsolated showers developing on and east of the ranges and also about western coasts. A cool to mild day with light to moderate northerly winds, shifting moderate southwesterly over western parts during the day.Tuesday 10 JulyIsolated showers on and east of the ranges, the western coasts and remaining parts of the agricultural area contracting to southeastern parts during the day. Light to moderate west to southwesterly winds extending throughout early. Accumulated rainfall amounts from Saturday through to midnight Tuesday are expected to be 2 to 10 mm over districts east of the ranges with possible local falls of up to 20 mm. Falls of up to 2 mm are expected elsewhere.Wednesday until FridayIsolated showers over the agricultural areas and West Coast district mostly clearing by Friday evening. Possible isolated showers over the far northeast, clearing during Thursday.
