MELBOURNE - Jul 4/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of New South Wales was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.
Weather Situation A strong, slow-moving, high pressure system near Adelaide is extending a ridge into New South Wales as a low over the Tasman Sea moves away to the east. A cold front will approach from the west early next week as the high moves to the Tasman Sea. Forecast for the rest of ThursdayIsolated coastal showers, possibly extending to the adjacent ranges. Showers tending scattered along the central and northern coastal fringe. Fine and mostly sunny in the west. Patchy morning fog inland. South to southeast winds, fresh at times near the coast.Friday 6 JulyIsolated showers on the north and central coasts and on adjacent ranges, scattered near the coastal fringe. Mostly sunny elsewhere. Widespread morning frosts and patchy morning fog inland. East to southeasterly winds.Saturday 7 JulyIsolated showers on the north and central coasts and on adjacent ranges, scattered near the coastal fringe. Mostly sunny elsewhere.
