Weather Situation A strong slow-moving high pressure system southeast of the Bight is extending a ridge across New South Wales. The high will be the dominant synoptic feature this week, before a cold front approaches the western border of the State early next week as the high moves across the southern Tasman Sea. Forecast for the rest of WednesdayThe chance of showers along the southern and central coasts. Mostly clear elsewhere. Widespread morning frosts and patchy morning fog inland. South to southwest winds, becoming fresh and gusty near the coast.Thursday 5 JulyIsolated coastal showers north of Illawarra possibly extending to the adjacent ranges.. Mostly sunny in the west.
