Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Jul 1/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high near the western border will move slowly eastwards over the next few days to be centred near the South Australia Victoria border later Thursday. A weakening front will move over southern coasts early on Tuesday.
Forecast for the rest of SundayIsolated showers over the agricultural area, contracting to southern coasts during the evening. Cool to cold with light to moderate southwest to southeasterly winds.Monday 2 JulyIsolated showers chiefly over the southern agricultural area, contracting to southern coasts in the afternoon. Early frost over the northern agricultural area, Flinders and Pastoral districts. A cool day with light to moderate southwest to southeast winds, tending southwest to northwest in the south and west.Tuesday 3 JulyIsolated showers over the agricultural area and western coasts contracting southwards during the afternoon to be confined to southern coasts by evening. Early frost over the northern agricultural area, Flinders and Pastoral districts. A cool day with light to moderate southwest to southeast winds becoming general during the day.Wednesday 4 July
Possible isolated showers near far southern coasts. Cold early with frost areas. Early fog patches south of about Woomera to Broken Hill. Fine otherwise. A cool day with light to moderate south to southeasterly, tending easterly in the west.
Thursday 5 JulyPossible isolated showers near the Lower South East coast. Cold early with frost areas. Early fog patches in the east. Fine otherwise. A cool day with light to moderate southeasterly winds, tending east to northeasterly in the west. Cumulative rainfall totals from Sunday afternoon until midnight Thursday are expected to be less than 1 mm over the northern agricultural area, 1 to 2 mm over the southern agricultural area, increasing to 1 to 5 mm near southern coasts and over the Mount Lofty Ranges.Friday until SundayCold mornings with frost areas. Cool to mild days. Fine with light to moderate southeast to northeast winds.The next routine forecast will be issued at 5:30 am CST Monday.Product IDS10033
