Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Jun 26/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high over the Bight will move slowly east to southeastwards to be over the Tasman Sea on Wednesday. A cold front moving across the west of the state on Thursday and the remainder on Friday, will be associated with a deep low moving across the Southern Ocean.
Forecast for the rest of TuesdayIsolated light showers about southern coasts and ranges, clearing during the afternoon. Patchy morning fog south of Coober Pedy. Early frost patches over the Pastoral and Flinders districts. Cool to cold with light southeast to northeasterly winds.Wednesday 27 JuneFine apart from early frost and fog patches, chiefly over eastern districts. Cool to mild with light to moderate northeast to northerly winds, freshening near the coasts during the day.Thursday 28 JuneIsolated showers developing southwest of a line Ceduna to Lameroo from late morning, increasing to scattered about southern coasts in the evening. Cool to mild with moderate to fresh north to northwest winds, strong about southern coasts, ahead of a moderate to fresh westerly change across the west.Friday 29 June
Scattered showers over the southern agricultural area. Isolated showers over the northern agricultural area and south of the Pastoral districts. Cool to cold with moderate to fresh northwest to southwest winds, strong about the coasts.
Cumulative rainfall totals from Tuesday until midnight Friday are expected to be up to 2 mm over the northern agricultural area and south of the Pastoral districts. 2 to10 mm over the southern agricultural area and west coast, reaching 10 to 20 mm over southern coasts and ranges.
Saturday until MondayScattered showers over the southern agricultural area. Isolated showers over the northern agricultural area and south of the Pastoral districts.The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm CST Tuesday.Product IDS10033
