Australia -- Western Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Jun 11/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Western Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Warning summary
Severe Weather Warning for people in parts of WA southwest of a line from
Geraldton to Southern Cross to Israelite Bay. This includes people in, near or
between Geraldton, Dalwallinu, Jurien Bay, Southern Cross, York, Perth,
Mandurah, Bunbury, Busselton, Margaret River, Bridgetown, Albany, Katanning,
Narrogin and Esperance.
Gale Warning for coastal waters from Kalbarri to Israelite Bay.
Strong Wind Warning for remaining coastal waters Shark Bay to Caiguna.
Warning for Sheep Farmers in the Southwest, Lower West and adjacent Great
Southern district.
Forecast for Monday    evening
Eastern Pilbara, far northeast Gascoyne and western Interior:  Areas of patchy
rain.
SW Land Division, southern Gascoyne, Goldfields and western Eucla: Isolated
showers, ahead of a band of scattered showers with strong squally winds near
Geraldton to Southern Cross to Esperance, moving east to lie near Shark Bay to
Leonora to Eyre about midnight. Scattered showers persisting in the wake of the
band with isolated thunderstorms and hail about southern coastal districts.
Remaining Gascoyne, western Pilbara and southern Interior: Isolated showers,
clearing this evening.
Forecast for Tuesday
Northeast Pilbara, far northeast Gascoyne, adjacent Kimberley and northern
Interior: Areas of rain, easing to isolated showers during the afternoon.
SW Land Division: Scattered showers with isolated thunderstorms southwest of a
line Jurien Bay to Narrogin to Albany, becoming widespread in the evening, with
hail. Isolated showers throughout the remainder of the Division, tending
scattered with isolated thunderstorms towards evening. Strengthening W/NW'ly
winds, becoming widespread dangerous winds towards evening.
West and south Gascoyne, Goldfields and Eucla: Isolated showers.
