Australia -- Western Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Jun 10/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Western Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Warning summary
Severe Weather Warning southwest of a line from Geraldton to Kalgoorlie to
Israelite Bay for Sunday.
Storm Warning for coastal Waters from Mandurah to Windy Harbour.
Gale Warning for remaining coastal waters from Jurien Bay to Israelite Bay.
Strong Wind Warning for coastal waters from Shark Bay to Jurien Bay and from
Israelite Bay to SA Border.
Warning for Sheep Farmers in the Southwest, Central West and Central Wheat Belt.
Forecast for Sunday
Western and central Pilbara, Gascoyne, and Goldfields, extending into the
southern Interior and Eucla in the afternoon and evening: Areas of rain. Heavy
at times with isolated thunderstorms, squally winds and damaging gusts possible
in the western Pilbara, western Gascoyne and southwest Goldfields.
SW Land Division: Areas of rain becoming scattered showers during the afternoon
and evening. Isolated squally thunderstorms in southern and western parts.
Damaging winds south of Geraldton to Kalgoorlie with locally destructive gusts
possible southwest of Jurien Bay to Katanning to Bremer Bay. Near western
coastal waters south of Lancelin expect higher than normal tides with flooding
of low-lying coastal areas.
Forecast for Monday
Eastern and central Pilbara, far northeast Gascoyne, central and southern
Interior and eastern Eucla:  Patchy rain. Isolated thunderstorms possible near
the Pilbara coast in the morning.
SW Land Division, remaining Gascoyne, far west Pilbara, Goldfields and remaining
Eucla: Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms southwest of Jurien Bay to
Ravensthorpe, contracting to southern coastal parts of the SW Land Division
during the afternoon. Isolated showers over the remainder clearing the central
Gascoyne, northeast Goldfields and central Eucla by evening. Windy in the
southwest.
