MELBOURNE - Jun 9/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Western Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Warning summary
Severe Weather Warning issued west of a line from Exmouth to Minilya to Gascoyne
Junction to Mullewa to Geraldton for overnight Saturday into Sunday.
Strong Wind Warning for coastal waters from Mandurah to Cape Leeuwin on Sunday.
Warning for Sheep Farmers in the Central West and Central Wheat Belt.
Forecast for Saturday
Western Pilbara, western Gascoyne and the northern Central West district: Areas
of rain, becoming heavy at times in the evening with isolated thunderstorms,
squally winds and damaging gusts possible. Higher than normal tides with
flooding of low-lying coastal areas.
Remaining Gascoyne and Central West district, the northern Central Wheat Belt,
northern Lower West and northern Goldfields: Rain areas developing during the
afternoon and evening.
Western parts of the Southwest district: Isolated showers.
Forecast for Sunday
Western and central Pilbara, Gascoyne, and Goldfields, extending into the
southern Interior and Eucla in the afternoon and evening: Areas of rain. Heavy
at times with isolated thunderstorms, squally winds and damaging gusts possible
in the Pilbara, Gascoyne and Goldfields. Near western coastal waters expect
higher than normal tides with flooding of low-lying coastal areas.
SW Land Division: Areas of rain becoming scattered showers during the afternoon
and evening. North of Jurien Bay in the morning and then throughout in the
afternoon and evening, isolated thunderstorms, squally winds, heavy rainfall,
and damaging gusts possible. Near western coastal waters expect higher than
normal tides with flooding of low-lying coastal areas.
