Australia -- Victoria Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Jun 7/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Victoria was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A large high pressure system south of the Bight will move very slowly eastwards during the next few days, while a cold front will pass to the south of Tasmania early Saturday. The high will move across Tasmania during Monday to reach the south Tasman Sea by Tuesday.
Forecast for the rest of FridayMorning frost patches in the north, locally severe in the northeast. Patchy early morning fog in the north. Scattered showers over southern and mountain areas, mainly near the coast. Fine and partly cloudy in the north. Cool with light to moderate south to southwesterly winds.Saturday 9 JuneMorning frost patches in the north then fine and partly cloudy. Scattered showers over southern and mountain areas, mainly near the coast. Cool with light to moderate south to southwesterly winds.Sunday 10 JuneLocal morning fog and frost inland then fine over the north. Isolated showers in the south, contracting eastwards during the day. Cool with light southerly winds.Monday 11 JuneMorning fog and frost patches. Isolated showers in the far east.
