Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Jun 7/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A strong high pressure system centred south of South Australia will move slowly eastward to be centred over Tasmania by Monday.
Forecast for the rest of ThursdayFine. Cool to cold with light to moderate southeast to northeasterly winds.Friday 8 JuneCold at first with isolated fog on and east of the ranges and areas of frost. Possible isolated showers about the Lower South East coast, southern Kangaroo Island and developing over the Nullarbor Plain. A cool day with light to moderate southeast to northeast winds.Saturday 9 JuneCold at first with isolated fog east of the ranges and areas of frost. Possible isolated showers about the Lower South East and Kangaroo Island. Isolated light showers in the far west, clearing. A cool day with light to moderate southeast to northeast winds.Sunday 10 JuneCold at first with areas of frost. Possible isolated showers about the Lower South East and Kangaroo Island. A cool day with light to moderate southeast to northeast winds.Monday 11 June
Cold at first with areas of frost. Isolated light showers developing in the far west. A cool day with light to moderate northeasterly winds.
Cumulative rainfall totals from Thursday afternoon until midnight Monday are generally expected to be less than 2 mm.
Tuesday until ThursdayIsolated showers, mainly in the south, extending from the west during Tuesday and Wednesday, then contracting to southern coasts on Thursday. Cool with moderate northerly winds turning west to southwesterly from the west on Wednesday before becoming northerly again on Thursday.The next routine forecast will be issued at 5:30 am CST Friday.Product IDS10033
