MELBOURNE - Jun 7/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Western Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Warning summary
Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued for areas of the SW Land Division bounded by
Jurien Bay to Beacon to Corrigin to Bunbury, including people in near or between
the Perth Metropolitan Area, Mandurah and York.
Strong Wind Warning for coastal waters from Cape Leeuwin to Israelite Bay.
Forecast for Thursday
SW Land Division and adjacent Goldfields: Scattered showers, easing over
northern parts during the afternoon. Isolated thunderstorms over central and
southern parts, with some heavy falls possible near the west coast.
Remaining Goldfields, the Eucla and the southwest Interior: Areas of rain
extending from the west, although with generally light falls.
Southern and western Gascoyne and the western Pilbara: Isolated showers,
clearing later in the afternoon.
Central and eastern Pilbara and the northwest Interior: Areas of patchy rain.
Forecast for Friday
Eastern Goldfields, southern Interior, the Eucla and eastern parts of the
Southeast Coastal district: Scattered showers, easing during the day. Isolated
morning thunderstorms in the south.
Remaining Goldfields: Isolated showers, clearing by the evening.
SW Land Division: Isolated showers over all but northeastern parts, mostly
clearing by the evening.
Far western Pilbara and the far northwest Gascoyne: Cloudy with isolated showers
possible.
