Australia -- South Australia Weather Update

MELBOURNE - Jun 3/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of South Australia was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
An upper level low will move northwards along the eastern border on Sunday. A strong high pressure system centred well south of Western Australia will move slowly eastward to be centred near Tasmania next Saturday.
Forecast for the rest of SundayPatchy early morning fog over inland parts. Isolated showers over the agricultural area and west of about Ceduna to Marla. Isolated coastal thunderstorms in the far west. Showers becoming scattered with isolated thunderstorms near southern coasts and over the South East district after midday. Areas of rain developing in the Lower South East from late afternoon. Cool with light to moderate southwest to southeasterly winds, fresh to strong at times near the coast.Monday 4 JunePatchy rain about eastern and central districts south of about Leigh Creek. Isolated showers over the remainder of the agricultural area and western coasts. Cool with light to moderate southwest to southeast winds, fresh to strong near southern coasts.Tuesday 5 JunePatchy rain about eastern districts south of about Leigh Creek clearing early. Isolated showers near southern and western coasts. Cool with light to moderate southeast to south winds, fresh to strong at times near southern coasts.Wednesday 6 June
Isolated showers near southern and western coasts. Cold at first inland with isolated frost then a cool day with light to moderate south to southeasterly winds.
Cumulative rainfall totals from Sunday morning until midnight Wednesday are expected to be 10 to 20 mm near southern coasts, 5 to 15 mm near western coasts and 1 to 5 mm over the remainder.
Thursday until SaturdayIsolated showers near southern coasts contracting to the Lower South East coast on Friday then clearing. Cold mornings with isolated frost inland then cool days with light to moderate southeast to northeast winds.The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm CST Sunday.Product IDS10033
