Australia -- Victoria Weather Update

MELBOURNE - May 27/12 - SNS -- The current forecast for the state of Victoria was released by Australia's Bureau of Meteorology.

Weather Situation
A high pressure system is located over the Bight and extends a ridge across Victoria. The high will move very slowly eastwards over the next few days, finally moving across the State on Wednesday then reaching the Tasman Sea on Thursday.
Forecast for the rest of MondayEarly frost patches inland. Isolated showers in the south but fine across the north. Cool and partly cloudy with light to moderate south to southwest winds, fresh along the Gippsland coast.Tuesday 29 MayLocal early fog and frost patches inland. Isolated showers near the coast, but fine over the remainder. Cool and partly cloudy with light to moderate south to southwest winds.Wednesday 30 MayEarly fog and frost patches inland. Isolated showers near the coast, mainly morning. Cool and partly cloudy with light and variable winds.Thursday 31 MayEarly frost inland. Fine, cool to mild and mainly sunny day with winds tending light northeasterly.The next routine forecast will be issued at 4:30 pm EST Monday.Product IDV10310
